Buckeye Showcases
At the Buckeye Wedding Expo, we are committed to providing immersive, interactive experiences for our attendees. One of the many exciting aspects of the event is the Showcase—an opportunity for wedding planners and vendors to collaborate in designing unique displays that inspire and educate attendees. The showcases will be a key feature of the event, offering a visually stunning example of what a wedding reception can look like with vision and the right vendor team.
What Are Buckeye Showcases and How Can You Be Involved?
A showcase is a specially curated display designed to highlight various wedding-related services and products. The showcase will feature a cohesive design based on a specific theme, color palettes, wedding trends, and/or layout options. Wedding Planners will be responsible for creating and organizing these displays using their artistic vision, while vendors will be invited by the Planners to contribute their expertise by displaying their products and services within the showcase. Attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite showcase, with the winning team being invited to come on stage to discuss their design process and the specific products and services featured.
How Do Showcases Work?

Wedding Planners Lead the Design: A select group of wedding planners will take the lead in designing these showcases. Each planner will choose which vendors to work with, ensuring the display aligns with their theme and vision.

Vendor Participation: As a vendor, you may be included in one of these showcases, contributing your products or services to the overall design. This could include florals, décor, photography, cakes, attire, or other wedding essentials.

Booth Space Option: While the showcase will allow you to be present and display your items, if you want additional visibility, you can purchase booth space to further highlight your business and interact directly with attendees. Note that booth space is not included with the showcase participation.

Voting and Engagement: Attendees will vote for their favorite showcases, which not only helps highlight the most creative designs but also gives you the chance to connect directly with potential clients. To increase your chances of winning, you will have the opportunity to interact with attendees, educate them about the products and services used in the showcase, and discuss your specialty.

Increased Face-Time: Attendees will be encouraged to engage with vendors by voting on their favorite showcases. By talking to you and learning more about your contributions, attendees will gain entries for door prizes, which helps facilitate even more interaction.

The Winning Showcase: The showcase that receives the most votes will be invited to the stage for a special feature. The planners and vendors behind the winning showcase will have the chance to share their design process, what makes their display unique, and why they chose the particular elements featured in their showcase.
